New functional and ecological solutions
Consumers are increasingly looking for products that combine aesthetics and functionality, with particular attention to the qualitative properties of materials: among the most requested requirements by customers, softness, breathability, durability and, in strong growth, sustainability stand out, without however neglecting the accurate evaluation of the price in relation to the qualitative profile of the article. “The current market trend is rewarding eco-friendly solutions, such as organic cotton and regenerated fibers, as demonstrated by the excellent response obtained by our quilts with recycled PET padding”, notes Luca Anesa, General Manager of Cotonificio Zambaiti. "We have also observed the progressive growth of demand in the hypoallergenic duvet segment. In this sense, today our innovation policy focuses on the mix of sustainability, comfort, functionality, which means continuing to develop products in natural cotton fibers, declined for the winter in high-performance duvets and quilts. As for the next season, we are focusing on a line of hypoallergenic duvets in various weights that allow us to satisfy the variable needs of weight and warmth depending on the different months of the year. Furthermore, our current focus is undoubtedly on functional design: the duvet cover/duvet system is highly appreciated by users for the ease with which it allows you to frequently renew the look of the bedroom by changing only the duvet cover and not the entire quilt. This is particularly relevant in a context of rising temperatures and shrinking living spaces, as well as to allow a quicker daily tidying of the room". From a technological point of view, the company is working on duvets and quilts with intelligent thermal regulation, so as to maintain an optimal temperature during sleep and, consequently, guarantee maximum comfort in every season. “This is achieved through innovative materials and advanced production techniques,” explains Anesa, “such as breathable and insulating fabrics, which allow the skin to stay dry and promote natural thermal regulation, layered structures that adapt thermal insulation according to different climatic conditions and alternative ecologically virtuous materials, which reduce waste and the use of natural resources, contributing to a more sustainable production cycle.”
As a fully verticalized Italian production company, Cotonificio Zambaiti presents itself as a point of reference for the supply of large chains and important customers, while maintaining, alongside its industrial soul, the artisan tradition that the end consumer recognizes, in particular, in its flagship brand Cassera Casa. “This is also thanks to our advertising campaigns on traditional and digital media, which increase the visibility of new products, as well as exclusive events and collaborations with influencers in the sector, which create direct and engaging engagement with consumers,” concludes Anesa. “Without forgetting the direct marketing activities including newsletters and personalized promotions – useful for maintaining an ongoing relationship with our customers and strengthening their loyalty.”
