“Like at home” is the Telethon Foundation project dedicated to welcoming children with a rare genetic disease and their families, who come from all over the world to undergo the gene therapy at theSan Raffaele Telethon Institute of Milan.

It is with immense pleasure that Cotonificio Zambaiti has chosen to support the project by "dressing up" the accommodation to make families feel "at home". Practical support to help guarantee the best possible welcome to young patients and their families, providing textile products that the company produces in Bergamo and has marketed for over fifty years: sheets, sponges, bathrobes, everyday items, which with their colors they can liven up spaces. 

Undergoing the therapy developed by Telethon researchers means facing a complex process, which for children involves numerous tests and a long stay in hospital, even in isolation. The objective of the “Come a casa” project is to make young patients and their parents feel welcomed and protected, recreating the climate of serenity that a child feels in his own home, offering a psychological, logistical, linguistic and cultural mediation support with the Telethon Foundation.
